Is Allumeria Free? Price, Demo and What You Get

The price

$11.99 USD for the Early Access version on Steam. At launch, Infinimelon ran a two-week 20% discount — $9.59 — starting 28 August 2026, and applied purchasing-power-based regional pricing, so the local price is genuinely lower in many countries rather than being a straight currency conversion.

Allumeria also launched in a bundle with Lucid Blocks, which discounts the pair, or discounts Allumeria further if you already own the other game.

Is there a free version?

There is a free demo, and it is still listed as its own Steam app (“Allumeria Demo”). It is not a time-limited trial of the paid build — it is the older content set. The gap is large now:

• The snow and desert biomes, and the Snow Spirit and Desert Worm, are paid-build content. The wiki notes both bosses are unavailable in the demo.
• The NPC and housing system arrived with Early Access.
• Cobalt and palladium tiers, the health rebalance, the Adventure Guide compendium and the rebuilt inventory are all 0.15.

So the demo is a fair way to decide whether voxel building and forest-tier progression appeal to you, and a poor way to judge how much game there is.

Will Allumeria be free later?

No, and there is no reason to expect it. It entered paid Early Access at a deliberately low price with a stated pricing rationale, and Infinimelon has not announced any free-to-play plan. Early Access prices more often rise at 1.0 than fall.

What “Early Access” means here in practice

The developer shipped four patches in the first four days — 0.15.1 through 0.15.4 — with public notes for each, addressing crashes, NPC room detection, progression skips and early-game balance. That is the useful signal about what you are buying: an actively maintained solo project with an end-of-content point (the desert) and no announced 1.0 date.

Where to buy

Only from the official Steam store page. The developer confirms on allumeria.com that allumeria.com and allumeria.net are the only official domains, and you can verify that against the website field on the Steam page itself. Sites offering “Allumeria free download”, cracked builds or key resales are not connected to Infinimelon, and a $12 game with regional pricing is not worth the risk.
